We need donations. We need the support of the community and local businesses to help fund much needed mental health support for people who are unable to afford the cost of a psychologist.

Our community funded sessions relies solely on donations of local community members and businesses and through our local fundraisers.  We receive NO government funding.

How exactly can you help?

For every $5000 raised

we can help people access support such as:

  • 27 psychological therapy sessions

  • 58 psychological therapy sessions with a provisional psychologist

  • 4 cognitive assessments

New referrals who are in financial hardship and unable to afford the cost of psychological therapy or the cost of psychological assessments will be assessed for eligibility to access our psychology service through our community funded service program. If eligible, each person will be offered a package of sessions, relevant to their support needs.  This will typically be, for example, a group of 10 psychological sessions or a full psychological assessment.

We cant close the gap between the low Medicare rebates and increasing costs to operate a psychology service but we CAN help raise funds to bridge the gap ourselves and that is what we are doing.

So if you would like to donate as an individual or as a business, we would love to hear from you.  This initiative has the potential to help so many local families doing it tough but WE NEED YOUR HELP!
