Our Story

United Minds is a Not-For-Profit charity founded by Managing Director, Melissa Duckmanton, in 2013 as a community based bulk billing psychology service. The purpose of the service was to bridge the gap in access to mental health support by removing the financial burden of psychological support.  With postgraduate training in community psychology, our founding director worked hard to grow our traditional psychology service and our community service program, building a unique and comprehensive psychology support service. Today, we offer the local community a comprehensive psychology clinic which offers both psychological therapy and assessment by a range of mental health professionals including Senior Psychologists, Psychologists, Mental Health Social Workers, Counsellors, Psychology Interns and students. As a charity, we secures community funding to help people experiencing financial difficulty access a funded place within our psychology clinic.
