FEE INCREASE

Did you know United Minds is a not-for-profit charity? . We provide eligible clients with access to foodbank items, food hampers, material and financial aid, and no cost and low-cost counselling services.  We are also launching our community funded psychology sessions whereby we seek funding from the community by way of donations and sponsorships to help cover the cost of psychological support for those people in the community who are unable to afford the cost psychological support.

As a not-for-profit charity, we have little room for movement when we experience increases in operating expenses.  Post July 2022, minimum wages and superannuation payments will increase on top of the increases we are seeing in general operation expenses and rent.  Our team work hard and go over and beyond their general duties and are rewarded with remuneration that is above minimum award wages.  We want to keep rewarding our team so will be increasing their wages as of July 1st in line with the increases in award wages.

To cover the cost of these operational expenses we will have to increase the fees of our psychology clinic.  This will be in line with the Federal government expected increases in Medicare rebates, which will hopefully help offset this increase.

Our new fees effective July 1st, 2022 will be as follows:

Psychological Assessment

  • $181 per hour

General Psychologist

  • Full Fee Paying: $185

  • Concession: $155

Clinical Psychologist

  • Full fee paying: $216

  • Concession: $191
