Support our work

Every cent counts!  There is currently heavy demand for our service with people looking for much needed psychological support.  The rising cost of living has made it even more difficult for people to get the help they need.  As a charity, we use funds raised through donations & fundraising to help those people slipping between the cracks.  Get involved and help us to help others.

United Minds has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status which means all donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Donations

United Minds receives no government funding.  Our program is fully funded by donations and fundraising.  Every cent donated goes towards our charity program.

Every dollar goes a long, long way.  Some examples of how donations are used to support mental health includes:

- educational & learning assessments

- ADHD & ASD assessments

- individual counselling sessions

- group & workshop attendance

Fundraising

Schools, businesses, and community based groups can play an important role in helping us keep our doors open by running a fundraiser.  United Minds is a not-for-profit charity and receives NO government funding.  We rely heavily on donations and fundraising to deliver subsidised mental health support to those in need.

Some examples of things you may be able to do to help raise funds:

  • Hold a sausage sizzle

  • Run a trivia night

  • Casual dress day

  • PJ day

  • Crazy hair day

  • Do a fun run/walk or run a sports game

  • Set up a donation collection in lieu of a present for a birthday

Getting started is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

1. Download our application and send it back for approval

2. Once approved, organise your fundraiser and make it happen

3. After the event, organise to transfer fundraising efforts and receive your certificate of appreciation
