United Minds

Our Story
Improve mental health outcomes within the local community by offering diversity in access options to support more people, more often and prevent people from ‘slipping between the cracks’.
United Minds is a psychology service supporting the mental health and wellbeing of the community across Melbourne’s North and North Eastern suburbs, operating from Mernda.
Our service consists of both a private clinic and a community clinic, allowing us to provide a diverse range of access options to better support the varying needs of the local community.
Our private clinic delivers therapy and assessment services through a range of funding pathways including Medicare, NDIS, TAC, WorkCover, VOCAT, and self-funded options. As a registered charity, profits generated through the private clinic are reinvested back into the organisation to support the delivery of accessible community-based mental health services.
Our community clinic focuses on improving accessibility to psychological support for individuals experiencing financial or situational barriers to care. This includes low-cost therapy and assessments, a bulk-billed telehealth psychology service, and free community outreach initiatives. Through our outreach program, we deliver early intervention and prevention workshops within schools, sporting clubs, and community organisations to promote mental health awareness, strengthen community connection, and encourage engagement with support services.
We have a diverse team of mental health professionals with varying levels of experience and areas of interest, and we work collaboratively with local schools, community organisations, and tertiary education providers to support the evolving needs of the community.
