Dita Humphries - Psychologist (Contracted)

Dita Humphries is a Registered Psychologist with over 15 years of experience in counselling. Her approach is grounded in compassion and collaboration, with a focus on achieving practical, meaningful outcomes within a supportive and relaxed therapeutic environment.

Working from a strengths-based framework, Dita supports adults using a range of evidence-based modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and compassion-based approaches. Her work is centred on facilitating lasting, positive change tailored to each individual’s needs and goals.

 

Dita is committed to providing professional and approachable support to help clients navigate life’s challenges, build on their existing strengths, and enhance their overall mental health and wellbeing. She works collaboratively with clients to clarify their goals and values, supporting them in creating a more fulfilling and balanced life. A key focus of her practice is equipping individuals with practical strategies, psychoeducation, and self-care tools to maintain progress and manage future challenges independently.

 

Her areas of practice include anxiety and panic attacks, depression, ADHD, grief and bereavement, stress and burnout, self-esteem, life transitions, chronic health conditions, sleep difficulties, relationship concerns, separation and divorce, and carer support. Dita has a particular interest in women’s health, including supporting women through periods of transition such as the perinatal stage and perimenopause/menopause.

 

Dita consults on Wednesdays and offers services in both English and Czech. After-hours telehealth appointments are also available where appropriate (standard full fee applies).
