Naomi Edwards - Provisional Psychologist

Naomi is a provisional psychologist with a passion for helping people meet life's challenges and live fulfilling lives. With a background in the arts and education, Naomi brings warmth, creativity and curiosity to her work. Naomi works with children, adolescents and adults with a variety of presentations, with a special interest in neurodiversity. Naomi's therapeutic practice draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and play-based approaches. Her neuroaffirming, client-led approach is structured and adaptable, tailored to facilitate change in line with each client's individual goals, needs and preferences. Naomi is also experienced in assessments and screeners, including cognitive, educational, Autism and ADHD. 

Naomi is currently completing the final year of her Master of Applied Psychology (Clinical) at Victoria University, and is researching camouflaging in self-identifying and gender-diverse Autistic populations.

When not practising psychology, Naomi is teaching herself jazz piano, pickling cabbage, sewing a new frock or planning her next adventure.
