Sharon Bamford - Provisional Psychologist

Sharon is a registered provisional psychologist with experience working with adults and children with a range of presentations including neurodivergent profiles, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, school-related concerns, and child behavioural difficulties, and offers psychological and cognitive assessments.

Sharon utilises a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Play Therapy, Child-Centred Play Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), tailoring her approach to each individual’s needs, strengths, and values.

Outside of psychology, Sharon enjoys travelling, playing guitar, tennis, and spending time with family and friends.
